19 Jan Mercury Photos’ first year is huge success
Mercury’s photography division, Mercury Photos, has seen the first year in business go by in a flash.
The business has gone from strength to strength since launching, attracting a wide range of both commercial and lifestyle photography clients to its state-of-the-art Hull-based studio.
The development of the studio saw a £30,000 investment by Mercury but director Kelly Taylor say it’s certainly paying dividends.
“Clearly there was already demand for photography services from our existing clients working with us on the marketing, design, PR and digital side of the business,” she explained. “I now realise that this was only a small representation of the number of people who actually required photography services locally, since then we have quickly developed a reputation for providing high quality creative photography services both on location and in studio.”
Mercury Photos has recently carried out work for the likes of Bill Draper Haulage, CPD plc and Hull Kingston Rovers to name but a few on the commercial side. Meanwhile, the lifestyle division of the business is being inundated with requests for everything from photography for families, mothers and babies, pregnancy shoots, weddings and even pets.
Kelly says things can only continue to develop from here. “We are delighted with the success of Mercury Photos in its first year and the good word can only continue to spread,” she added.
