Team Mercury runs the Jane Tomlinson 10K in scorching conditions

The sun was beating down relentlessly on team members from Mercury Design and Marketing when they took part in a 10K run through Hull city centre.

They ran the Jane Tomlinson Hull 10K Run for All in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s East Yorkshire Nursing Appeal, which is aiming to raise £300,000 to enable the charity to continue its vital charity which sees nurses providing end of life care for terminally ill cancer patients in their own homes in the region.

Kelly Todd, director of Mercury Design & Marketing, said: “It was an absolutely scorching day, but the hard work was really worthwhile. The atmosphere in Hull was incredible and we would like to thank everyone who has pledged their sponsorship so far – money is still coming in now. Marie Curie Cancer Care is a truly incredible charity that touches so many people’s lives in such a profound way, so I am genuinely very grateful to everyone for their donations.”
